Inspired by the belief that art is a powerful communicator and intimately entwined with the human condition, Peace in 10,000 Hands is a global initiative to photograph an ancient symbol of peace in the hands of 10,000 people from around the world with the intent to use contemporary artwork to incite and invigorate a global conversation for peace.
All proceeds raised from the sale of artworks, merchandise, and publications goes towards our goal of raising $100M to support charities, foundations and NGOs focused on furthering peace through youth education, safety, and climate action.
ABOUT THE ARTIST, STU ROBERTSON:
Contemporary artist & humanitarian Stu.art Robertson melds graphic imagery, digital media, symbolism, and neon that speak profoundly to the viewer. Provoking confrontation of our own preconceptions and gracefully inspire the recognition of our similarities within the human condition.
